Benny Karnes began his career by enlisting in the U.S. Air National Guard in 1986 and joined the West Virginia Air National Guard. Currently, Benny is the Communications Flight Commander for the 130th AW. He has been in several carreer fields within the ANG including Mobility Navigator and Public Affairs Specialist.

Benny has been working in the Information Technology field for over 18 years and has been a graphic designer, technical writer, desktop publisher and web site developer/designer.

Benny is a consultant for General Dynamics and his responsibilities for the Stay on Track program include Progression Database design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
