Scott Steger
has worked in the prevention and education fields for over 17 years. As the President of the National Center for Prevention and Research Solutions (nCPRs), he has coordinated with the Department of Education, the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, the Weed and Seed program, the Bureau of Justice Assistance, the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Department of Homeland Security, the Office for Domestic Preparedness, the National Guard Bureau, local school boards, local, state, and federal law enforcement, and national service organizations to design and promote prevention and education programs. His responsibilities include oversight of the Race Against Drugs, Stay on Track, and Operation Fire SAFE programs.

With practical experience in all forms of motorsports, Scott has been crew chief for a number of racing teams at NASCAR sanctioned events for the past 20 years forming relationships that have allowed him to work closely with numerous race-sanctioning organizations, assisting them with their drug prevention efforts, both locally and nationally.

Scott has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to drug abuse and crime prevention by the Volusia County Crime Prevention Association (VCCPA), the Drug Abuse Reduction Education (D.A.R.E) Program, the National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC), and numerous national, state, and local organizations.

Scott holds degrees in Business Administration and Management, has several technical associates’ degrees, and also holds current private pilot’s and aircraft inspector’s certificates.
